Public speaking
My work combines advocacy and reporting to equip agencies with practical strategies for communicating effectively with cold case families and the media during difficult periods of waiting. I can help strengthen transparency and trust, and encourage open dialogue while supporting families who may feel unheard or have lost hope. By bridging the gap between agencies and the communities they serve, I provide guidance that may help improve communication, public engagement, and case visibility.
I am available for speaking engagements, including conferences, seminars, panels, workshops, and moderated conversations. I provide insightful and impactful presentations for law enforcement agencies, victim advocacy groups, educational institutions, and community organizations.

FOR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS:
Cold cases involve real families waiting for answers, which is why engaging students is so important. Speaking with college audiences helps future criminal justice professionals learn to approach complex cases with care and consistency, while journalism students gain an understanding of ethical reporting that supports both investigations and families.
It also increases awareness of the long-term impact these cases have on communities and encourages cooperation among law enforcement, advocates, and the media. This work strengthens critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and a meaningful commitment to justice in the next generation of professionals.

Cold Case Consultant
We know time isn’t on our side when it comes to cold cases, which is why a fresh perspective can be crucial in uncovering new leads. I review old case files to assist investigators in analyzing and advancing unresolved cases. I work to identify overlooked leads, potential suspects, and persons of interest or witnesses who may benefit from being interviewed or reinterviewed, bringing new insight to the investigation.
I support agencies by organizing case materials, preparing timelines, conducting research, identifying evidence that can be tested or retested with the latest technology, applying my interview and interrogation skills, and providing guidance on best practices for communicating with families and the media.
My focus is on providing a dedicated set of eyes and a different approach that could help strengthen the investigative process and move cases toward resolution. If your agency lacks the resources or manpower to focus on cold cases, I can offer support to hopefully refine, advance, and reinvigorate your efforts.
